No alcohol at all but the cedar city location has margaritas and beer.
Great food service.. Fast n easy.. Friendly people who treat you like family..
Very much enjoyed our visit to Lupitas. We both ordered the Mexican Flag Enchiladas. Little small in my opinion, but at its price, very affordable and delicious. It has a nice cozy "Mexico" feel, a little cramped, but spacious for its size. You aren't sitting on top of your neighbors.Hope they out grow their current establishment and upgrade their amenities and space. Would love to see this place continue with it's success. All Zion and Lake Powell visitors should stop by for a bite.
Excellent food in between La Verkin and Hurricane, Utah. The best news is they are moving to a larger, prettier restaurant a mile away. The best.
Great, friendly service. Good food in a relaxing atmosphere (maybe not so relaxing when my kids are there). It doesn't hurt that this is the only Mexican restaurant in town, but this place is great all around!
Really tasty, but super slow. Probably the best burrito I've ever had, while waited 20-30 min for it after ordering. Come on it's just a burrito!
Nice small restaurant! Food was delicious, a specially there Tortilla soup! Service was good as well.
Pretty standard Americanized-Mexican food. Nothing special. Small seating area. It could have just been the other customers, but it was noisy. There was also a long wait. The serving staff was nice, but it was a little slow. I wouldn't go again. I'd just go to Costa Vida which isn't far down the road.
Simple place. Good food and service. You won't wait long. Chicken and beef both very good. Salsa also. Recommended.
Great food. And the fried ice cream was incredible.
The food was excellent although it took a little while for it to come out but well worth the wait. It's a small restaurant. The staff is friendly.
Lupitas is some of the more authentic Mexican food I've had. The place is small, but the food is very good with lots of flavor! They don't skimp at all. It is owned and run by an Argentinian family, and they succeed in making your feel like you had a home-cooked meal.
Staying in Hurricane while visiting Zion National Park, this was a decent place to stop and fuel up after a long day of hiking. Several reviews complained about their salsa and they are wrong! It was fresh, chunky and delicious. It's a small place that was packed on a Thursday night. While there isn't a margarita or any alcohol available, it still hits the spot.
Always consistent in quality and service! We had a large group for lunch and they took great care of us. And without a doubt the best Chile Relleno anywhere!
Food quality was terrible. I ordered a pork tamale and a pork taco. The tamale was dry and crumbly that I accidentally inhaled and started coughing powder as I was eating. The meat wasn't the same as in the taco which was considerably better. The people are always nice here. The food is usually pretty good so I'm editing my review. Bad day?
Some of the best tasting food I've had in a long time. Cant wait to see what they will offer once they're in their new facilities!
Amazing Chimichanga, probably the best I've ever had.
Great little hole in the wall, authentic Mexican/Argentine cuisine. Chips and salsa are decent. Tacos are $1 on Tuesday. Enchiladas are $1 on Thursdays. Make sure to ask for the " Lupita's Sauce" for your enchiladas. It's delicious.
Nice little hometown eatery. Nothing fancy, but the food is tasty
I had the #6 Carne Asada plate with an enchilada, the food was good, the service was great, it was a nice surprise considering it's Utah.
Worst mexican food I have eaten. The carne Asada plate was chopped meat. Can food.
Great Mexican food. I went here both nights while I was in Hurricane and I was not disappointed. Tough to choose between the chicken or beef burritos as they were both excellent. Quick service as well.
💥💥💥Went here twice during our visit to Zion---food and service were amazing both times!! Had a fish taco that literally changed my life.
The food was well priced, and the kids meals were great.I got the mega-large chimichanga, but it was so big that the cheese inside wasn't melted. I'd just stick to the regular size. Lots of chips and salsa, and the rice pudding was good too.A few people at our table said that the chicken tasted fishy, so I'm not sure if it's canned chicken or they just serve it using the same equipment as the fish, but that was a bit off putting.
I’m so embarrassed. I told the waitress when she brought my plate that it was too much food and I would need a box to go. But I gladly finished it all! It was so good. First time patrons.
Love the fried ice cream and chimichangas!
Little run down place but great food huge portions and amazing salsa. Definitely recomend stopping in
Really good authentic Mexican food! Get there early on a Friday or Saturday night because they will be busy! At least a 30-45 minute wait. The only suggestion I have for this restaurant is to move into a building that is twice the size!
This was the first time we tried Lupitas and really enjoyed the food. It's a rather small restaurant, so large groups can be a little difficult, but the food was really tasty and the service was helpful and friendly. I would guess the place is known for their deep fried ice cream dessert, and it is definitely worth getting. The portion is large, and perfect for sharing in a group. Overall, dinner portion sizes are large, so keep that in mind when ordering. I can't comment on the breakfast or lunch menu yet, but I'll keep you posted. We will definitely be eating here again! The parking lot is a decent size, especially for the size of the restaurant, so free parking is not a problem. They serve Pepsi products, along with bottled Mexican sodas (coke, sangria, jarritos, etc).
The grilled quesadilla was very good.
No frills kinda place .... But with decent food. Reasonably priced, fresh veggies, everything tastes good. Friendly staff, easy to park..... In and out fairly quickly with no drama. Wife and kids enjoyed their meal too. Happy customer..... Recommend.
Stopped by tonight after a long full day of hiking. We loved the restaurant, friendly staff, and quick service. The lot was full when we pulled in but quickly seated and served. I had a carne asada burrito and couldn’t finish it all! Love this little town of Hurricane.
So good. I got the Mexican flag enchiladas and a chicken empanada. So good
We loved this place! Perfect way to fuel back up after a hike. Their quesadilla with the tomatillo sauce is probably one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had and my husband loved their tamales!
We love Lupitas! The service is great and the food is always delicious! We always make sure we get their chips and salsa because the salsa is the best!
Just okay... the shrimp taco was alright, the fish taco was terrible. It’s a fish stick on a tortilla. The service was good. I think that there were only two people on the floor and they were busy but always smiling. Overall not great and we won’t be going back.
The food is pretty good. Each time we go the wait after we order is a little longer than other places. But the staff is friendly and the place itself is a nice stop. Locals are lucky to have a little place like this.
We Love Lupitas. Food is always good and not expensive. They are moving to a larger location so we are excited about that too.
Very good food and excellent service! Thank you!
Absolute worst Food I've ever had I couldn't even finish the quesadilla it wasn't cooked and the sauces have no flavor. After I ate it it was just like a big brick in my stomach and $20 down the drain
Got some enchiladas to go. Well seasoned beef and chicken with great sauces (green chili and the Mexican flag combo), but overall they were a bit light on the sauces revealing pretty average and somewhat dry tortillas. Maybe this was because they were to go because the pics look better. The rice, beans, chips, and especially the salsa were excellent.Definitely recommend eating here, dine in if you can!
Excellent Mexican cuisine at affordable prices! Cozy atmosphere with great service. Great portion sizes and you leave feeling full! Great food, friendly service, and never disappointed!!!😃👍
The food taste amazing, the seating is more relaxed and no alcohol is served. If you like Mexican food, are by hurricane, and need to feed your family. THIS IS THE PLACE!
I got takeout. The 2 people I talked to were very friendly, the enchiladas were surprisingly good, but the portion size was very small, especially considering the description of the place offering "heaping plates". Other people have been pleased with portions, so I wonder if they skimp on takeout.
Perfect. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly. Prices were affordable. Me and wife were in and out in 20 minutes..had excellent enchiladas..and it only cost us $27 (2 sodas). Good stuff!
The salsa is pasta sauce. Not for people who know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like.More specifically all their sauces are flavorless and taste like they were purchased at Walmart. Additionally the Mexican rice was dry and tasted like it was made with ketchup.
Absolutely loved this place Came in looking for something authentic like (being from southern California we have quiete a few) & definitely got what I was looking for.Food was amazing, very friendly hosts.Would definitely recommend this place. If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely come here again!
First time and came from out of town! Best burrito I have ever had. Worth the wait and a must visit.
We love to stop at this place when we’re driving through Hurricane! It’s a small restaurant but I think they’ve done a wonderful job since Covid-19 and have placed dividers between the booths. Their waitress (young white girl) was great! She also wore gloves and a mask. We’ve ordered bean burritos (our favorite), beef flautas (my kid ate the entire huge thing), and their spinach empanadas are SO good.
This is a great spot to go to in the area. We came here after a long day of hiking in Zion and coming back to this area where we were staying and it really hit the spot. Chips and salsa are included. This is a great alternative to the various chain restaurants located nearby.
Lunch enchilada is $9 for a tiny enchilada, which was dry (tortilla and meat inside) +rice and beans. Way overpriced in my opinion. My mother told the server - Carina- that she didn't enjoy her food to which the server asked if she wanted a to go container. On top of that she never checked on us to see how the food was etc, my mom had to walk to the back after 5 minutes of sitting at the table with the plate pushed away. No other tables were in sight. We waited for a while to receive our check and when we got it, my mother's food was charged for. We asked her to take the meal off since it was not enjoyed. When she brought the check back, she didn't provide a pen to sign with. Very poor service. Will not return.
